About IdentifAI

IdentifAI is a browser fingerprint test that shows which device and browser attributes a website can observe, and how often they appear in our comparison dataset.

What is browser fingerprinting?

A browser fingerprint combines attributes such as browser version, operating system, screen settings, language, timezone, and graphics capabilities. Together, these values can help recognize a browser across visits.

What the test measures

The report reads available browser attributes, canvas and WebGL rendering signals, and HTTP request headers. It also shows the connection IP address. Unsupported or blocked checks are marked unavailable.

How comparisons work

Exact matches compare the combination of stable attributes. Each similarity percentage shows the proportion of saved samples with the same value, using only samples where that attribute was available.

Repeat visits update a browser sample. The dataset stores keyed signal hashes and retains samples for 365 days after their latest update. See our privacy policy for details.

The project

IdentifAI was built by Aaron Creor. Developers can use the JavaScript SDK and assessment API to compare browser signals in their own applications.
